Here are some of the things you might not know about John McCain:

* Opposed Workplace Protections for GLBT Americans.  Senator McCain cast a deciding vote that killed the Employment Non Discrimination Act (ENDA).

* Opposed Protecting GLBT Americans from Hate Crimes.  Senator McCain voted, not once, not twice, but three times against expanding the federal hate crimes law to include sexual orientation and gender identity.

* Does not believe that gays and lesbians should serve in the military.

* Campaigned for a Ban on Relationship Recognition.  Senator McCain actively supported a voter-defeated ban on same-sex relationship recognition in his home state of Arizona - even appearing in a campaign television ad.
