VOLUNTEER CALL

Gay and lesbian couples in California now have the right to marry, but that right is already in serious jeopardy. Opponents of GLBT rights have qualified Proposition 8 for the ballot in November - an intitiative that would take away this right from thousands of committed couples in California.

We need as much help as possible to make sure that Proposition 8 fails in November.  By volunteering today, you can make a real difference in the outcome of this very important ballot measure.

HRC is part of the Equality for All coalition working to defeat the anti-marriage ballot initiative and protect marriage equality in California this November.

If you are unable to dedicate your time, please consider making a donation to the HRC California Marriage PAC. Above all, make sure you go to the polls on November 4 to vote no on Proposition 8!
