Gene Robinson, has inspired many around the globe as a voice of deep faith, compassion, and courage in a troubled time.  Elected Bishop of New Hampshire in 2003– the first openly gay man to be appointed to such a position—Gene Robinson is a symbol of hope not only for  lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people but for all who have felt marginalized and in need of the message that God loves them just as they are.
